clio 182 trophy - bit dated now
madza 3MPS - bit boring exterior wise
350z but my dad has one - too heavy

Get a sorted Rx7 with good documentation of rebuild and reputable builder, and get a cheap run around, Use the rx7 for the summer and lay it up for the winter. This way you will save on fuel costs, ware and tare of parts etc. Get one thats logged as a 1.3 to save on road tax and do limited mileage to save on insurance.

How old are you Tom? Didn't think you was that old. :/
Will be quite a step up from a Corsa.

Have you looked at things like BMWs etc?
I've recently been looking ar 330ci's. They are relatively cheap for me to insure as well.

Can i suggest a 206 Gti 180? hell of a car, i had a 54 plate full spec phase 2 and with Koni coilovers, full Janspeed Stainless and Viper it was imense, rolling roader at RST at 167.4bhp but bloody quick and more quick than youd ever imagine, certainly more than any other car ive owned
to put into persepctive.... ive had 3 Corsa Sports, 2 modded, own a 170bhp 306 GTi6, a Ph1 Clio 172 and a 170bhp RS Scenic and then my Alfa Sportwagon Daily
the 180's really are underated and are bang on in your budget

unless you havent driven anything quick, in which case the Clio's are far easier to drive hence reason for so many having them.
