Not a massive amount tbh?
12,000 a year over 9 years is 108,000 so it's bang on average I'd say?
I had a 59 plate Passat in today for a service with 71,000 on it.

It's loads of miles but not actually that much a year.
Wouldn't buy it but the high mileage crew will be here to give you the other side of the story.

Nope, not at all - that's just over 10k a year.

It's a 9 year old car so not really, but I wouldn't touch it just out of personal preference.

No chance, when the bits on that are needing replaced they'll cost a fortune.
High mileage for a car like that as well imo.

I wonder if that seatbelt if covering some bolster wear
The interior does look in good condition for 102k. I guess it's had a farily easy life.
As seth says, it could be mostly motorway miles.

Whatever you buy you're taking a risk unless it's in warranty.
I had my old Corsa for 5 years, I did roughly 66k in that time and it cost me less in repairs than my Combo has in the 8-9 months that I've owned it and put 25k on it. The Corsa was 8 years old when I bought it, the Combo was 4. It's luck of the draw.
100k on an Audi, as long as the service history looked half decent, is a safe bet imo.

Mileage wouldbt scare me until I came to sell it on. My dads just changed his car, his old one has just hit 120k on an 09 plate, mostly motorway miles and regular services/no expense spared due to being a company car. My mums car has 19k on and its worse condition than my dads. Luck of the draw really

Good point about the selling it. Some people are still retarded and get hung up about mileage like we are all still driving around in cortina's and cavaliers.

My evo6 is on nearly 124k, mate had from new, all history, i clocked 13k up in 7mnths and only 8weeks straight was i using purely as a daily, even though milage is high for an evo, i knew the car 8.5years out of the 10years, but i know some evos having done 180k+ iirc.
If the cars looked after then i wouldnt worry, everything has got much better since seths pointed out, escorts, cortinas, sierras, etc, the german cars seem to cope with milage much better imo

ask stu on here
mileage wont be an issue but make sure you get an extended warranty as i believe the suspension is prone to failure and its over 2k

My V6 has done nearly 109k sweet as you like and no bolster wear at all. The leather in the VAG's is pretty durable unless someone really hasn't given a shit about their car.
Saw plenty of high milage A3's and Golfs with leather and next to no bolster wear.
If it's been looked after and there are no obvious signs of things broken go for it provided it is priced accordingly.

Wouldnt bother me, that car could have issues at 50k or a 150k, its one of those things you take a risk on.
You could buy a 30K RS6 thats had a hell of a thrashing and it could end up costing you more.

My 05 plate 3 series has done 130k. I wouldn't sniff at 100k on a car 2 years older.
