I have just bought a Vauxhall Corsa GSi in Glacier White with 57k Miles on it, most of you will recognise the car as I got it from a member on here. He had it advertised, we agreed a price and i set about getting it delivered to me.
Anyways I set about giving it a good clean/polish and it bought the car back to life.
I did plan to fit a C20LET to this and had one lined up but now im not 100% sure I want to....
Going to get someone to look at it this week and give me a price for a full respray in original colour and get it MINT before any shows this year. Engine has apparently had topend rebuild which is ideal, engine is lovely and quiet!! but will remove it and paint the block/box etc.
Some pics of it on the truck on its way here:
and some now its had a good clean/polish.

it looks cleaner in the pics than it does up close mate.
when I got it home there was lots of small rust bits starting to appear(not rust but the brown mark type thing on paint when it runs if you get me?)
most of it has come off with a polish but probs needs spraying again
Will see how it goes

Latest picture of the engine bay before I bought the car from neil, looking abit worse for wear...
I will be removing headlights, probably loom and loads other bits this weekend to spray up the crossmember and also fit the standard airbox I have just got hold of

Looks lovely mate. If it were mine I would just tidy up any rough bits but keep it looking like that. I think the wheels look really good on it too

Looks ace that, i wouldnt change a thing on it tbh and just concentrate making it cleaner. I also wouldnt put a LET in and keep it standard but that's just my opinion
