Been offered a 2002 on in part ex for the BMW i have just repaired; car is an 02 with 82K full leather all the toys and a certificated LPG conversion in the last year. I dont really know a huge amount about these nor have i ever tried to sell a 4x4; and given the cost of living will people buy these?!?

I have the BMW 320d up for £4450 and the guy has offered £250 with the ML; what do people think would be easier to get my money back on given that my BMW is a cat d?

If it was just to be sold on i wouldnt bother personally, cant imagine an ML being easy to shift.

How long have you had the bm up for sale?

Really?

They are one of my favourites.

If you look on AT there aren't many on there, seeming as you see a lot of them on the road, they don't seem to hang around long.

Id be interested if its got a decent LPG tank hidden?

ML's were notoriously faulty and they're very expensive to buy parts for (and run). A mate used to have one and paid a rediculous amount for a new seatbelt mechanism.

From a quick look on zee internet the ml320s go for 3.5k - 4k from a dealer, so you selling private would probably be 3.5k, taking in mileage and year in to account, 4k was a 2002 on 110k.

I see there personally being a bigger market for the 320d.

Thats my gut feeling aswell even with the BMW being CAT D; it has only been up for a few days so think i may stick with it as in no really hurry to sell

Just sold my 02 ml to get a 330d. Actually straight swapped it 02 ml pretty much fully loaded ml270cdi facelift model for a completely fully loaded 52 330d sport. Would not swap the bm for it mate

I work for Mercedes. The ML (163) are pretty poor to be honest. It's not so much what goes wrong with them but the cost of repairing.

Not too clued up on BMW's but you've probably made the right choice. People on sell them once they receive a massive estimate for work needed.
