Morning

I have a question about automatic transmission cars. If the brake pedal is released and no throttle is applied, how fast will you generally be going? Interested because I was sat behind an A6 in traffic today and they were moving at about 2mph so I had to either annihilate the clutch or leave a gap and then catch up.

2/3/4 MPH, all auto cars differ.

Mum's Merc likes to creap along about 4 MPH whereas the Prius is slower

I'd guess it was probably an auto, but it was a woman driving so may well have been riding the clutch

this morning could have been better.

broke glasses

got to work and had to pick up and adult nappy.. heavily used as our cleaning company dont clean outside

emails saying i'm doing x y and z wrong, which i know full well but have no staff to do them right, so just allow the staff to do them wrong so at least they get done

now been told i've got to work at a different health centre 2/3 days a week, more work, oh joy.

In my astra derv I can just release the clutch in anything up to 4th gear and the car wont stall with zero accelerator applied. Great for slow moving traffic

1st does about 3mph
2nd about 8
3rd about 12
And 4th about 18
