Had my review last month and in my office (IT Support: Service desk, network operations, application management) I got one of the better pay rises of just 2k (the majority of people got 1k or less ).
Which works out at an extra £100 a month net (ish).
I still think I am under paid by about 4k though... should I mention this and moan that I am not happy (not that it's likely to get me anywhere) or do I accept it? I know that we are bailing our sister company out at the moment and there was talks of no pay rises at all come review time
A few colleagues of mine have already uploaded their CVs and are looking for other jobs since the review as they weren't happy...
Choices choices...

What he said, a lot of people had nothing this year as companies are still being tight, so count yourself lucky.
A lot of people didn't even get a cost of living increase

2k payrise could be good or bad, only you know.
Unless you are really good they'll just get somebody else in to do it for the starting salary though.

Just be glad you've had one imho.
Some people haven't had one for years due the economic climate.

2k isn't bad. you survived on your wage last year without the raise so why is it no good this year?

You won't get a pay rise without leverage

It's only dead because everyone can do 'IT'.
It's not dead if you've got an actual skill.

£2k is better than nothing, I'd be great full and keep quiet!
I was head hunted for another IT job last year £5k more than what I'm on currently, didn't take it, I think it's better being happy at work than chasing money!
So if it's job you enjoy £2k is
April '06' Corsasport Feature Car | Aug '08' Total Vauxhall Feature Car | Spring '09' Fast Car Feature Car

Fucking hell fire get a grip
We're in the middle of a pay freeze at work so there's loads of people haven't had a raise in years. Feel lucky you've got anything at all.

Think I'm getting a £500 pay rise, but any pay rise is better than none at all or worse in my book!

It's all relative. If you were on £100k you would be pissed off with a 2% pay rise but if you were on £20k you might be quite pleased with 10%.
I also agree with what John said, everyone seems to be able to do IT these days so unless you have a niche I wouldn't be too disappointed.
