The last few series have been shit anyway

They've had a couple of pre-planned, "we'll bury him in snow" things and then 2 clips episodes

Guess he'd done most wilderness kind of things by now with the other stuff

I don't see the problem with him, his shows are good and he inspires a lot of people, I've obviously not met him and only going off the TV shows but he always seems decent enough there
