I'm after a decent head unit that can connect to an iPhone to play music as tbh, auto changers and burning cd's is like a decade ago. everything I've looked at it shit. i prefer a head unit to have the cd slot behind the face plate whereas most seem not to. perhaps head units are a thing of the past as modern standard ones do everything thats needed from the factory?

who makes red coloured text display etc one?

The alpine ida-x-305 is supposed to be superb. It doesn't have a cd player tho.

I'm not so fussy about the lack of cd player eck tbh since I've had iPod radios I think this is the first time in years I've actually used a cd in a car as it has an auto changer in the boot. Most my music is on my phone for when I was out in the vans at work with a crafty tape adapter to the transit radio. Posh.

I'd put the pioneer one I've had for years in but it's blue and would look massively out of place tbh.

BMW boys love their Beckers. Not a fan personally.

Clarion usually make good stuff.
