are corsa's (standard suspension and wheels) tail happy when pushed or in slippy conditions??
i came home form work and had left me keys there so i went back it was raining a bit so i slowed down for the tun into my works car park next thing the back end steps out big time!
i tried to catch it
not a chance
i ended up sideways in the middle of the road i had stalled it and had missed another corsa by about 5 feet!
s**t!
so are corsa's tail happy in dogy conditions?
scared the shit outta me!

are your tyre pressures ok, tyre tread. are your shocks worn. these can contribute to being skippy on corners

also if you brake hard while turbing weight will be shifted to the front of the car making the back light and so it will swing round.

will a older tyre cause it to step out? becuse it has loadsa tread on it but looks older has different markings but its of same make and type of the rest its stepped out before and i thought it was my rear brakes or bias valve they are fine

less tread means less water clearing ability. also with the wieth over the front then the weight on the back tyre will be less.

Its called lift off oversteer, good fun when u learn to control it but pretty much all front engined cars can suffer from it.

Spun many a time in D4 in the wet pushing to hard and to fast. U learn to slow down though.
Shite tyres + White lines + wet = round and round
