Well onto car No.4
As a lot of you know I was very bored of the Diesel Golf, yes it did save me some money but apart from that was boring, no sound and no fun. Weighed up a lot of different options, EP3, Clio 182, Integra DC5 & DC2, and a few other hot hatches but overall this won
Hadn't drove one of these before so I took a trip to Torque GT to test drive the one they had in stock and instantly fell in love, I can why people love v-tec, yes turbo's might be cooler blah blah but imo it was bludey awesome. So Here it is:
Spec - 2000 (Facelift) Honda Civic EK9 Type R (RX)
Championship White
Red Recaro's (as standard)
1.6 DOHC - B16B N/a - 185Bhp !
Fully Seam welded chassis
LSD
Weight: 1090 kg
Modifications - BC Coilovers
Front & Rear Mugen Strut Braces
ITG Panel Filter
Don't have many plans at present, going into a body shop in the next couple of week to get a few bits touched up on the vehicle and also have the wheels refurbed.
Anyway less talking, more pictures.
Nothing like I've ever driven before, absolutely love it !

Always loved these cars, such a presence on the road as there are very few around.

i would put a b18c in before supercharging anyway.
My plans at present are to sort out a decent intake, yes air box with a panel filter is best for performance but id like a little bit of noise to.
Also will be buying a de-cat and a new exhaust at some point, would love an N1 but would be to loud for daily use tbh.
Exhaust manifold and inlet are also on my to-do list. anyway, little bit at a time

These are cracking little cars. IIRC the book 0-60 time is sub 6seconds?!
This is (bar NSX) my fave Honda. I love how it's factory but looks like a limited edition that was made for test purposes. Love the colour. Love it.
How much do these go for?

UPDATE.
Well the week went quickly, this weekend i planned to drop the car a bit more
so started off the day before by Wd40'ing the coilovers, then got up early the next morning -
Before:
During:
After:
instagram makes any average person a professional photographer k?
And thankyou to copeland for the help !
I know it isn't a massive drop but its enough and now it sits so well after driving on them for a night, also been playing the with dampening settings on the coil overs. still not completely happy but jesus it handles well now !
Love this car !

Looks nice, I'm very tempted by something Japanese when I eventually move onto a new car. Massively reliable.

Subtle drop looks cracking I agree with Gav, I wouldn't supercharge a B16B. The engine is a blueprinted work of art! I would actually go for a B16a2 like mine. Best block for supercharging due to the compression. But just keep it like that!

hmmmmmm (Thanks NeilVtec for the super quick delivery ! )
And inside...
Exhaust - its a Spoon N1 Rep, the real thing is far to loud for everyday road use (ask Brad) + I'm sure my neighbours would hate me to after a while.
So it was car into the garage as it was raining ( Standard )..
Jacked up and on Axle Stands
Before
During
Comparison
Now wasn't completely easy, bolts came undone very easily but joining the new exhaust was a nightmare, had to get new bolts and sand some bits down (face palm) BUT its on now, been on for 2 weeks, not blowing or anything so should be ok
Bad picture but this is what it looks like now ( excuse oily fingerprints on the bumper )
Will get better pictures soon, will also get vids of the sound from inside and outside the car i love it
