It's for the torch that's built into the key.

you get one key with a button that turn a little bulb on. and you get one that has a false button! oh my

They look the same.. to me, i never had one on my last corsa, so im un aware of what it does.

simply a little bulb thats helps find the key hole at night.
i dont use it now because of remote locking

Both mine had the light. Neither ever worked and didn't see the point in replacing the battery really. A cavalier I had worked and it wasnt bright enough to warrant being there really.

i bought a new lockset from vauxhall and the torch was more money on top to get it lol
