I'm just sitting here eating trout that was caught about 3 miles from where I live, all my meat is from within 20 miles, my spuds are grown on the farm I live, eggs come from a bloke I know who lives 5 miles from me. I'm getting into country living, much more morally satisfying.

I'm waiting on my dads mate killing one of his cows so I can get some steaks and burgers.

Other than that it's normally scottish meat from costco.

I don't go out of my way to buy local produce, decent quality stuff normally is by default.

As much as possible. I'm a big fan of local, sustainable produce.

Garden centre in a nearby village does eggs from local farmers. Get occasionally.

If I couldn't get any of the above foods, I'd happily buy them from a local store (there is a very small co-op in the village, next store is about 10 miles away) all the local stuff pretty much comes to me though which i'm happy about.

I don't eat meat.
Eggs are from a local chicken farm.
Rest is from the evil big supermarket companies.

Normal day to day is none, supermarket whore If I'm doing a good meal and I'm not in Birmingham then I'll go to the butcher and get something decent from the local butcher and local shops which do proper local stuff. Birmingham is a shit place for trying to buy proper food, the Tom Stade sketch about the meat van comes to mind.

I don't buy into this locally produced bollocks. Most farm shops buy it in bulk and reckon theyvproduced it themselves

Well I can safely say the farm shop and fishmongers I use do not buy any of their stock in bulk and I don't know of any others around me that do either.

Depends how local you mean-all pork, beef and lamb related products come from Dad and his mate's small holding as do eggs, buy most veg from the greengrocer in town, everything else is from the supermarket for convenience
