Tried a mates gsi bumper on today while mine was off and it's got me thinking whether i should fit a gsi bumper painted same colour as the car abviously but with the top painted black to go with the arches.

Your thoughts?

Looks alot "meaner" with the gsi bumper colour coded with black top.

My only concern is that if i did fit a GSI bumper is that when the top is painted black it would look a different colour to the rest of the archers ect

I did ask the body shop about that tom and they said they wouldn't recommend doing them satin black as it would chip & mark very easily as it wouldn't have any protection (ie laquer) and probably would end up peeling/flaking

mine are satin, the front bumper is fine the archs the paint has disintegrated but i rattle canned mine,
matt black then laquer it ?

Would trimming the bumper top off the post 97 bumper then trimming the top off the gsi bumper then fixing the top of the post 97 to the gsi bumper it keeps it right.

Do you think that would work?

Mark this was one of the plans i had for my corsa this colour i bet you wont see another this colour with a gsi bumper. Do it!

You could get the top half of the bumper retextured Mark? Then have it coloured matched to the arches

Textured satin black paint? dont think iv seen it before,has anyone used it?

I think they spray it with the textured paint then spray over the top of it with the correct colour shade to match the rest of the plastics

Am I the only one who thinks the standard sport bumper suits it better?

Gsi bumper doesn't suit the colour IMO

Yeah poll is very close gez bay.i dont mind the post 97 bumper myself i think it looks fine as it is it's just when i tried my mates gsi one on it just got me thinking.

BUTTTT Front irmy splitter you need!!! gsi does look good but I cannot stop thinking irmy splitter in green would look much much better on your car IMO
