With trackdays becoming more popular on here now, how about organising some sort of trackday where we can all be on together? Rather than these ponsy little sessions at shows?
I'm sure there would be alot of organising to run your own day, the financial outlay initially would no doubt be high, so maybe just booking an MSV day well in advance could be the best way, also may get a club discount that way?
Ian, Willay etc, seem a good plan? Would people be up for it? I was thinking somewhere Central-ish, Oulton Park would be a good one maybe and I like that track alot as it doesn't require much power.

I reckon all you southerners man up and we go to Knockhill
On a serious note, I need to get back to Oulton at some point but I also need to save up for a 'Ring trip so might have to keep UK tracks to a minimum this year.

Knockhill is a possiblity. We can maybe sort a deal but there wont be enough southern bufties interested.
But it'll be a 4hr openpit and 4hr open drinking session

Bedford although flat is good for novices and people wanting safety. Cadwell is best UK track by a mile

Castel combe do open pit days during the week, £150.
These are always quiet, Im going to one on April 30th and theres about 10 cars booked.
Im sure if WR contacted Combe they would get a discount on booking.

You need about 500bhp for it to be any good even then it feels like an absolute mess that's been messed around with far too many times and now it's beyond repair

Croft.
Mates dad rented it for £1k for the day, 8 people went. Has a lower noise limit BUT it's not the noise of the car, it's a microphone out on track taking an average test.
For example over the period of an hour, if it's 90 fb you will be ok, if it goes to say 120db, they will bring everyone in for 20mins or so untill the average noise has come down.
All you have to do is let off past microphones and keep noise down really.
So 20 people could be £50 each. Worth ringing them to ask more about it.
Pretty good track aswell.
