39 days to go!
Aparently they have changed the rules on how the riders start. Bike numbers 1 - 20 set off in numerical order and from 21 onwards will qualify for their starting position to run after the main riders.
Is anyone making the trip over this year?

Think I'm going with Dad but left it a bit late for accomodation this year. Try and find some camping somewhere I think

He's called Si Fulton. He's got his own team (FVS Racing) so he's like an independant, not signed up with a big team or anything. He lives over there too which I guess gives him a good advantage. He did it last year too managed a 16th position but had a few mechanical problems with the R1.
This is his 600 bike.
He's got a TT average lap of 121mph.
He also won the Senior Manx Grand Prix in 2010.
If you can't get over for the TT, thats also a good one to go and see. On during the back end of August and as its not as big as the TT you should be able to get accomodation/travel better. They use the same track, and some of the big names go (Guy Martin) but not all of them.

Foot passenger tickets are fine, its if you want to take a car or bike that there are problems.

My two uncles are going over to ride round the island on their Gixxer 750 and CBR1000 that weekend, so there's a possibility I'm going over too! Dying to get to that race!

Can't believe how quick its come round! Good luck to your cousin!
Can't see anyone beating McGuiness in the Superbike and Senior races. Hutchinson might but depends on the fitness of his leg.

Hutchy will be quick I'd say in the Supersport, but John will have it in the Superbike & Senior.
Will be interesting to see how the Dunlops and Farquar fair.

Look out for a motorbike and sidecar thing painted in luminous orange (same as dyno rod vans) we've just painted it at work and it's supposedly going.

I didn't think he was. I'm sure I saw a tweet from him a few weeks back about him fracturing his leg again

Sad news about Mark Buckley
Guy didn't race on Saturday as he didn't get medical clearance after a spill and a bump to the head.

Yeah. I saw that. Sure he'd re broken it, so can't see him being a TT's.
Guy Martin crashed at NW200 but the bikes look quick as his team mate did really well.
Could be his year this year?

Far as I know he broke his leg in January/Febuary time again, not long after his Silverstone injuries had healed. He was at the TT Media Day & said he'd be competing.
