Anyone fancy viewing this for me?

Need the reg number for my list of Pumas.

Doesn't matter if you don't get to drive it, just rock up, note down either the reg plate or the chassis number and leave

Make it clear to him that it will make or break the sale

Edit, lol I didn't click the link and got the wrong end of the stick I think, unless you're looking at buying a FRP Ian?

I wouldn't be taken anyones word it was clear. Anyone can knock up a HPI certificate. I'd be saying I want an independant. I can't see why a genuine company would want to hide the reg?

I've dropped them an email full of bullshit which should see them surrender the details. I'll post them if anything comes back.

"Anyone purchasing this car will be doing so on a 2 visit basis as the service will be carried out only after purchase and deposit taken just in case there are any 'can you just get your man to' requests so if you were to come and buy our car you would have 3-4 days between purchase and handover . In which time you will be able to satisfy yourself as to the absolute provenance of our car. Hope this helps
Please call on the phone number provided if you have any further questions.
This is not about being awkward this is about being cautious having been bitten previously.
Regards
Ken BB"

Based apon asking for the Registration number for Insurance quotes and to do a hpi check before I went to view the car.

Who would want to drive a possible long way away without knowing if the cars HPI clear or having been able to check it's history, is a bit over the top, like his got a 100k Aston for sale, Typical Puma peanut.

Well, I cant see him shifting it in a rush...

quote:

We do not release the reg\chassis number due to a Cloning incident in the past . That is why it is not visible . The car is everything it states in the advert . Sorry if this is not what you wanted to hear but as previously declared it is HPI clear and a Certificate will be passed on the successful purchaser. Hope this satisfies your request. THANK YOU for your interest KBB

Subject: RE: 'STUNNING EX FMC 30,000 MILE PUMA RACING' at PistonHeads.com

http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/3876642.htm

Hello,

I am very interested in the Racing Puma you have for sale, I have been on the look out for one for quite some time and this looks to be the most promising yet. Could you please supply me with the registration and chassis number so I can HPI check the vehicle please. While I respect the add states the vehicle is HPI clear, I would like to perform my own check for peace of mind. Like I mentioned im very interested in the Puma but before I travel over 200 miles to view it with a hopeful outcome of buying it, I would prefer to have peace of mind that it's HPI clear.

Regards,

Robert Evans
