So Fergie said 'not in my lifetime', then it happened, ergo Fergie must be, by his own admission, dead?
Don't see the problem myself.

Bang on the money. Sod Sir Taggart, the flaky old cock. I love the fact that he's seen off Liverpool, Arsenal, Newcastle, Blackburn, Chelsea in his time and just when he's thinking of walking away into the sunset leaving United as top dogs City of all teams come along and spoil his party.

I think both clubs (bar tevez obviously) have been very civil about it and im pleased how Fergie congratulated them. City havnt made any bad comments towards United apart from Tevez, he shouldnt be anywhere near this league, let alone winning it. I cant believe they took him back after what he has done, they need to get rid of him this summer imo!

I see no problem with it. Just bitter fans crying that they won nothing.

Surely its just a bit of banter?

Its not the words of City, its the words of one of there players, who at best played for 10-20% of the games that counted towards them winning the league?

Man Utd slowly turning into the new Liverpool. How long before they are reduced to banging on about history?

You don't?
Disregarding how crass and despicable Tevez is, United are not City's underdogs and I doubt they will be in Fergie's lifetime.
Considering United have won 19 titles and City have just won their 3rd, after spending a billion, by 1 goal in the last seconds of the season.

if he wasn't out of order then city wouldn't have apologised to fergie. all that banter is fine before the end of the season but now it has been decided they (Tevez) should be celebrating the victory not antagonising an already poor relationship.

What the fuck are you talking about you long haired oaf?
Man United are the biggest club in England. End of story. When City have dominated over the period United have they can make brash statements such as Fergie's. Until then they can pipe down.
This is the reason I wanted United to win, you could tell the Dick Raper's of this world would become full of shit about their team is the greatest ever.

When you consider how much cash has been spent on man city players youve got to laugh.
Cant see them winning the champs league next year or the league.

But man utd won nothing this season. You're going off like a Liverpool fan. But the past, the past. Current champions are current champions. Not the team that didn't win it. The end. I agree with the banner tevez was holding. His time is over.

Mr Ferguson made the "Not in my Lifetime" quote when asked if United would ever go into the derby as underdogs.
It had nothing to do with winning the league.
