Nope not unless it's a coach party. Porters are usually about to help with stuff like that or reception supervisor
We are quite lucky most of our business is offshore so they just tend to get on with it as its their second home!

Worst times are when we get cancelled flights as we are an airport hotel

Yeah. I'd hate to work at an airport hotel.

We once got a cancelled flight even though we were in Manchester City Centre. It was a right bastard. Our main ballroom was already set for a conference the next day and we had to re-set it for a hot buffet for 250 with an hours notice, for the passengers off the cancelled flight!

They were moody cunts too due to them being in Manchester instead of somewhere over the Atlantic!

Great revenue though. Was worth about £4k in the end. They were only at the hotel about 3 hours.

Luckily planes out of Norwich are only small so usually end up with about 40 but even 40 at 9:30pm are a royal pain in the butt!!

Benefits are aircrew though

Virgin are the best imo.

We had contracts with Singapore Airlines and Saudi Airlines. Not to my taste tbh.

Oh right, sunny bridgend! I have family there. Ummm tbh cardiff is quite nice now, the St davids 2 isn't bad for shopping, around the bay is quite nice for a walk or eating out too.
