quite a productive day all told. fully intended on wrapping my dash console in red carbon effect vinyl but it proved to be monumentally difficult to wrap around the 'non-flat' areas. the general shape of the dash was an issue. so finding a half can of paint my mate used to spray his integra engine cover we set to work!

also removed the rear seats in preparation for santa pod on the 15th of june. and a general wash of the car.

oh yes and a honda accord rear badge to replace the broken and pitted old one.

Red wheels and green centre console, not a fan.

Also, why have you removed the rear seats for Santa Pod??

Less weight probably= a slightly faster time.

I just don't see the point. Why take them out just for a better time, then put them back in after the event.

Because the best time possible is the whole point of the event

I just don't see the point in doing it when they will go back in after the event.

I would rather have a car thats as quick on the road (where it spends most of its time) as it is on a drag strip.

Should have just folded the seats down rather removed them.

Everybody knows that doing that adds at least 10bhp.

Joking aside, the colour scheme is awful.

Sorry to hear that you will be selling the car now jonnysri, not many people are able to get the sparse reward that is the

john-d approval.

Good luck with the sale.

I don't mind coloured wheels, but only if they have a dish which can be polished. Coloured centre's look good. Whole wheels, not so good.
