I stayed here - http://www.maldronhotelcardifflane.com/index.html

Was a decent place, not toooo pricey and just off the river and a pleasant walk along it for 5-10 mins saw me in the Temple Bar area where a lot of the bars, pubs and restaurants are

Maldrons are good options, always clean and not too expensive.

Is that pounds or Euro???

Either way seems mad, never paid more than €79 a night for a Maldron before.

You could try the D4 hotels, but they are a bit out of the centre of the city.

Here for example. Its not a bad hotel, near my work place, stayed a few times. Its modest, clean, affordabled (as little as €134 from what I can see).

But its bit out of town. During the day not a prob as your right on the DART line (inner city rail). At night taxi might be about €20 to get there from city centre.

I don't mean to be rude but when will I see you at places such as Billing, Silverstone Circuit and Castle Combe again?

And back on topic, I want it central... :-)

I've stayed at a few jury's inns before, that's a good shout.

Will, what's on that weekend?
