Decent innings tbf, lasted longer than most. I'd probably still listen if the music wasn't so dreadful, not that he plays much mind.

About the only presenter on Radio 1 i listen to; the rest sound like hyperactive drama students ie: Greg James

If only Radio 2 still had Wogan........

He's leaving to do Jesus Christ Superstar, but could have stayed 'til 2014, apparently.

I'm gutted that he's leaving. I've only started listening to Radio One in the past 6 months tbh, but he makes me piss. I've been on the motorway every morning for the past few weeks, and his show makes it enjoyable.

I was quite gutted to hear his "big announcement" to be honest.

Tbf I don't listen as much as I did during my old job driving a van, but still enjoy it during my commute.
They've done some impressive stuff as a team, inc charitable stuff.
Shame to see them come to an end.

As said by a few people, he's the only decent thing on there now that i'm old.

It'll be Greg, i'd imagine. They'll be going for a "young" person to connect with their target audience.

He's done well to last this long, given the changes they've been making recently meaning that you have to be an illiterate 12 year old spastic with a southern accent to be a DJ on there.

Greg is awful, please not him. Why in the name of god they decided to put him on drivetime I'll never know.

Glad they moved Scott so I don't have to listen to him any more.

Fern is awful.

Its a sad state of affairs when Grimmy is about the only one vaguely worth listening to and I suspect thats because he only comes in to temp

They could replace any DJ with any other random person off the street and it would be no worse than it is just now.

Some days listening to that tribe has kept me going in a morning when I'm tired and not feeling motivated. Sad but true. Gutted!

Guessing its going to be Scott seeing as they "promoted" Greg to afternoons and Scott's slot is hardly listened to now so easier to get someone to replace then. Quite like Greg on drive home because he plays newish music and then does 10 minute takeover so don't hear him talking much

September apparently and announcement of who is replacing him at 10.30.

Have you heard Radio 1's playlist? Even Fearne Cotton piping up is a blessing.
