Specifically in the office.
Does it make anyone elses eyes sting and water like fuck?
I always switch it off because it drys my eyes out chronic, then people start moaning because they are hot, but are still sat there with the windows closed
seems an automatic reaction to instead of using your brain, to automatically go for the air con.
Anyway am i alone in it affecting my eyes? and would you sit there and have it on if it did?

I've been going insanely dizzy at work for the past two months, starts as soon as I'm there and stops as soon as I leave. I put it down to air con. I agree, open the fucking windows.

+1 for opening a window.
Air con/heating in our office gets fucked about with all the time and there's 14 controllers so the entire office has differing temperatures all over the place

Build your own trackday inspired work cubicle from perspex, you could have a little sliding window for when people wish to talk to you and a few little vents with homemade air ducting.

Air con, drys my eyes out also. I hate it. Luckly it's broke in our office so we cant have it on, but the downfall is the windows only open ajar.

A/C fucks me up.. If it gets unbareable here and someone turns it on I've got some Beconase I have to squirt up my snorter to be able to survive..
I'd much rather sit with the windows open but there are some hayfever gaylords here.

Also.. There is no real medical evidence to prove a link between A/C and sinus/eye issues but it definitely affects ALOT of people.

Aircon dries my eyes out, but the reason it was invented is opening the window only is fucking pointless if you are in anything other than a small room.
I hate how it makes my eyes go, but much prefer to be cool than a stinking hot BO mess.

Air con removes the moisture in the air hence why you have dry eyes/feel dehydrated etc.
Just drink some water and go outside every so often and you'll be fine.

Should be controlled by facilities management and not individuals that turn it off/on to suit themselves like Steve. Pretty much like a house party where everyone constantly fucks around with the iPod.
If you get cold put a jumper on
If you are hot and in a large office then windows do fuck all so can't do anything to make yourself cooler without a/c unless you sit there in your pants.
If it drys your eyes out get some fucking eye drops for Ł2.99

Opening the windows normally does work but the problem is every cunt is too lazy to open the windows until its 40 degrees C and far too late.
During the summer first thing I do when I get into the office is open a couple of a windows save everyone dying of heat stroke by 3pm.

Disagree, but then I live in Scotland. You open the window up here and you either end up with frostbite or some jakey steals your computers.
