I think gmax had something to do with jamex yes, not sure though. Name rings a bell. Ive got gmax springs on mine, and they are not that bad, ideally shocks and springs is whats needed, but a spring kit alone - there wont be much difference on any brand.

I've got em on now, shocks and springs -40mm and I think they are worse than standard shocks. I'm lookin out for a Koni or Spax setup.

Of course their uprated their shorter than normal their higher spec !. If the springs are uprated then the shocks must be of they would nt fit !

I've got them -60 kit and seems ok, bumpy ride on 17s tho and they dont like taking corners quick on 17s.

15s was excellent.

I'm just the same mate, this is supposed to be an 'uprated' kit, yet it seems to perform below the level of the standard gear. I have no confidence in this kit when hitting corners at speed.

thats rubbish they are better than standard just you exspect to much from an uprated kit, it s not coilovers is it just springs really. Even i noticed it was better in the wet, going out now to try in the dry.

Thats your opinion mate, and its obviously different to mine, I've had mine
a year and I can't really say anything positive about them. I knew when I bought them that they were not going to be a massive improvement, but I still expected them to be better than they have proved to be.
