Could everyone post photos of there C20xe's in a corsa b, i have a redtop in my gsi atm but away to take the engine out as theres wires everywhere and want to change all the hoses etc. so would like to see some other peoples engine bays

when I first put it in:


Throttle cable moved:

Painted all grey:

and then most recent, loom relocated to the 1.2 16v gromet and other bits moved out the way:

That looks sweet! Ohh how did you remove the throttle cable? I dont understand how to do it whithout kinking the cable!

I'm not sure what cable I have as everyone says the xe one sticks but I thought mine was standard, and I ran it under the inlet and then bought it up to the throttle and it's not kinked. 1.0l ones I have been told are the best for doing it

Kieran are those standard ancillary hoses and did you have to mod your bulk head to fit the powercap?

Yea all standard hoses. Got new ones now tho lol. Yea I had to cut the back of it out. That's why I'm repairing it now lol.

You make it sound as if its a bad thing. Ecotec pipes are better, not only because you don't have to cut the bulkhead but they also perform better

Another question i have is the spark plug cover how do you paint the writing a different colour to the background?
I want a green background with silver writing.

paint the whole lot green, cover in masking tape, sand through untill the higher metal ( the letter) shows through then spray the next colour
