May be a repost, but I haven't seen the original thread if it is.

I was expecting some HGV triaxle slide out race truck beast for that money.

Looks nice but you can see from a few photos its not concourse. I'd normally endorse things going up in value as they get more rare but I definitely couldn't justify that sort of money on one with signs of being used.

I doubt it as 'mint' restored ones tend to fetch £20 - 30k easily, but £120k for a virtually original one just seems ridiculous!
(ie. can't see how it can be a typo with an extra 0 or whatever)

Don't see what's hard to grasp, classic original collectors car?

Was bound to reach prices like that at some point. Looks lovely if you're into that sort of thing.

That is a bit over the top but there's been one moreover expensive! £135,000!
http://www.volksworld.com/news/videos/529754/worlds-most-expensive-bus.html
It also says its a bespoke one for the owner of Devon cOnversions, so it's unique!

Agree with this. Obviously i would never dream of paying anything like that for a camper van but if this is the 'best' one to have then i can imagine some people wanting to pay that sort of money.

No way it's worth £120k.

Yes its a 23 window samba delux but that is worth around £60k tops.

This reminds me - I saw an 07 plate VW Camper the other day. What's that all about, did they re-release it?

I'd love to buy one and rebuild it all, but I'd probably never use it and it seems a waste

never been a fan, don't see the appeal of driving somewhere really slowly in a tedious old roadgoing van with windows, then sleeping in it.

Would rather take a tent in a car or go to a hotel as they are all road accessible, or better still take the landrover 101fc V8 ambulance and drive up a mountain then sleep there whilst shooting eagles from the roof you can pitch a tent on.
