Thought I'd start the thread again as I can't seem to find it anywhere
Going to be A long project want to do everything properly.
full engine rebuild, restore and repaint the shell, compomotive mo5 wheels are going on it and lots of powdercoated goodies on the underside.
pictures of my wheels:
Paint:
Arch work so far, Didn't take a before picture:
Inner arch rust all ground off.
Small patch welded in.
Tacked in place.
Where I left it as I ran out of gas in the welder Will finish it saturday and MAYBE start the other side, it's a lot worst depends how confident I'm feeling as I'm doing it on my own.
Few bits I have been buying for the engine rebuild..
Engine will be coming out once I have done both arches.

It will be a LOT 'quicker' dont know how quick I'll finish it though shouldn't be so bad once the arches are out of the way they're one of the biggest bits of the whole project. Need to tackle the wiring yet too, it's a right mess!

Done quite a lot today, first thing for me to do was finish off the arch.. couldn't finish last week due to running out of gas in welder had to finish off the patches on the inner arch, grind back all the welds and seam sealer/underseal.
Didn't get a picture with underseal on it..
Then I had to tackle the filler work on the arch after I plug welded the inner arch to outer arch.
Fibreglass:
Forgot to get picture of filler, where I left it for today...
Also done some work on my SR boot.
Altogether:
Spoiler off:
Bootlock and wiper off, ground down ready for welding:
Fibreglass:
Where I left it today with GSI spoiler on, still need to get vinyl off:
Will be finish fuller work on arch and rest of boot tomorrow.
