After 6 years of owning french hot hatches i finally got fed up!
Type R GT, mate works at Honda so got the heads up on it. They reckon its one of the last Type R's off the line if not the last(im sceptical but i'll resarch how high the numbers go to)
Very different to driving the 207 GTi much more refined and less manic feeling.
Will get some interior shots later.

They don't look like the optional rage alloys?
Unless its a facelift version of some kind with it being a 61 plate.

The 1st owner had kerbed the fronts quite a bit so all 4 got refurbed as part of the deal, I decided that I didn't like polished face so went for that colour instead, was going to go darker but I wanted it to fit with the door handles and fuel cap.

Nice really begining to like the fn2s. I prefer the 18s imo but they look alot better in that colour i must say.

the numbers on the plate are put on the cars at random. Also those are the new style 19inch rage alloys and I must say I prefer them to the old ones! looks stunning mate this will be my next car.
how are you finding vtec compared to a turbo in your gti? is the ride as harsh as people say?

Are they (the plates?) Like i said im not really that clued up on them but was too good a deal to refuse! Managed to get £5252 for the GTi trade in which was a minor miracle too.
Taking a wee bit of time to adjust my driving style now going from the turbo as the Gti hit max torque at quite low revs whereas the Civic is a lot higher up but its much smoother and keeps pulling whereas the pug just ran out of puff.
The ride is fine bud if anything i felt more bumps in the Peugeot.

yeah its like a big parts bin they have and attach the plates on, there maybe a way to find out where your car come off the line if you go onto the civictyperforum someone will let you know on there.
i just sold my vxr and have bought a civic vti as a gap car and I love vtec. I heard the type r's are not bad on fuel either unless you live in a city or something lol
Thats also good to hear about the ride.
Looks amazing good luck keeping it clean lol

I really like these, iv got a facelift ep3 at the mo and might swap it for one of these in the new year, older ones like 06 plates are very good value.
Nathy, I don't know what's more shocking, your mates taste in stickers or what appears to be a rust free sprinter in the background
