Cue everyone telling you it can't be done and it'll be unreliable....
Do it Warren, go or a decent size charger though, C38-91 should do it! (or more sensibly, a C30-84)
It'll still be loud

no point keeping the bodies with the charger
Its just the cost of a compact charger that stops me...

I find the power delivery makes them so easy to drive. Still more revs = more go but more low down power and no falling off boost etc.
I do miss the induction noise though although the whine and a crackling exhaust note are still rather good
Drives supercharged Tec with torque

Don't let the cost stop you. Stick one on, cover the car in WG Motorworks stickers, watch people be amazed by it on track days, rake the money in.
It'll make more power but feel the same, best of both worlds.

Well still went past 20 vxrs at rockingham last week
The problem i have, the car is only fast on track, lacks the midrange on the road when you have in the wrong gear or below 5000rpm
and with the exhaust and cams it should still rev to 8k!

Contact tts, and buy it through your company
My mate got quite a discount buying his through the company he worked for by saying he was developing a kit.

Custom inlet that incorporates the tb's would be good mated with a c38 rotex. Cost a bit.more than the c30 but good for a bit more power.

More power could mean less reliable engine which means you'd be sick of fixing it and break it eventually

Depends warren, most of them use a c30-81 iirc but we always offered an upgrade to a c38-81 with the right internals...

Ive not seen a c38 in a kit yet as per Robin's post, they were being sourced seperatley but now they are making an apperance and being a good option im sure Jamsport would do a kit with one.
Off topic, when did you stop working there?

If we built a proper spec Fiesta, rods and pistons, ported head an all, it had a c38 on it.
Most of them used a C30 body though, normally a c30/74 or C30/84, that's the one I'd go for, should be spot on for Warren.
I left them about 2.5 years ago

Why bother with a c30-74 or 84, may as well get the 94 for future scope.

What sort of power can be achieved with the car in its current tune? Ie; whack on a charger and see how much you can get?
