Standard 1.7, this one had a remap 140bhp (though was laggy and slow when i drove it)
First trail Fit of the Engine.... and it bolts up perfectly, loads of room
Then the wiring......oh the fun
Working with Tech 2, though a seprate OBD port i made
Turbo compressor turned around, for better routing of FMIC
Coolant pipes Fitted and 1.9 Fuel filter
with engine cover
Loads of clearance
6 Speed gearstick
1.9 In tank Fuel pump Fitted
Just need a few fuel lines sorting, and fuel pump wiring up (1.7s dont have one) and it should run

Would a map take it to 200bhp ish? And silly amounts of torque? Will be nuts that.

1.7 CDTi Corsa is 1174kg. Astra 1.9 CDTi 150 is 1346kg

210-220bhp 330lbft 55mpg
but no TC.....so will spin easy
and id say quite abit lighter than an astra

Top work, the wiring always put me off as I want this engine in my Astra coupe as the 2.2 is slow and thirsty

very cool! i do like to see cars that are differant and not just what everybody else has done many times before! i toyed with this idea a few years ago but didnt have the time, money or space for another project car. put the z22se in mine just to see if you can. 2.8 in a corsa d??
