a lot of people around here seem to have average houses and prestigious/expensive cars.

maybe some people don't want a nice house and prefer to spend money on what they really like?

Bloke I know has 2 degrees; is a chemist and an economist, retired at 50 and has a 6 year old Ford Focus and a normal 3 bedroom house in a normal estate.

Not everyone with money likes a big house and 4 expensive cars.

I dont, council house was said in jest. It just doesnt look like the kind of house i'd imagine to have several hundred k's of car bundled on the front drive/lawn.

perhaps just a trader and all the photos are taken at his house. doesnt mean everyone selling cars is rich, might only have a couple grand profit in each if that.

He hasn't got the 123 / 1M anymore - I know who the new owner is It's also featured in Performance BMW mag this month.

The guy owns his own bodyshop, so is just doing well for himself afaik
