So i've bought another! As soon as i saw my old one drive off, I instantly regretted selling it. Bought an A4 Avant but that didn't satisfy my needs, so bought another E36! That little child in my is happy again!

This is how my old one finished up...

And so onto my new one. This is how i got it

Horrific headlights!

Remus back box all wonky

And here's all the bits i've collected for it. Got an M3 bumper, new grill surround and black kidney's, smoked side reps and corner lamps, standard headlights with angel eye's (courtesy of Mexican) a set of coilies and a set of 9j Z3M wheels (again courtesy of Mexican)

Todays task was to set about lowering it and getting those horrendous headlights out!

Started on the rear which involved removing the carpet and sound deadening right back to gain access to the Rear shocks

Got the shocks and built up the new ones.

Put the new shorter springs in. Rear end complete

Would've been rude not to trial a wheel

Thats gonna need some camber and some hefty arch rolling/flaring. Need to borrow some space in mates workshop and his buzz gun to loosen some bolts to achieve the rear camber.

Set about the front. Simple job realy as i had adjustable top mounts, so built them up and took out the old suspension to compare

Action shot

Trialed a wheel again, and guess what!? Its gonna need hefty arch rolling/flaring and camber too!

Dropped it off the axle stands and stood back to admire how undriveable it is!

After a nice cold glass of Coke it was onto those headlights. Ripped off the bumper and got the headlights out. Couple of bolts still to remove for the grill to come off. This is how it stands till i get time tomorrow to put the front end back on.

Look forward to the progress! Not so keen on the new wheel choice but I'm sure they will look sweet when fitted... You never seem to choose wrong upto now

E36 ftw.

Z3 wheels are difficult to pull off. Look cool with Alpina centre caps though.

Glad you got another one

Lights are standard Bosch items with angel eye lamps fitted. They have a light tint over them, but when i took pics it was just before a biblical down pour so was dark as fuck outside making them look tinted darker than they are.

Just waiting on borrowing a mates arch roller before i can get the Z3 wheels on.
