Takes an age to load by the way
Seeing the sun from the surface of Mars is pretty damn impressive though

-50 Mad how the complete lack of moisture makes it look "warm"
I'm sure a human could brave that for a short period of time. In Siberia it gets to -35 with snow & ice.creckon it's doable. Holidays on Mars the frosty desert

Just don't let Walowitz near it!
I would rather lose by a mile because i built my own car, than win by an inch because someone else built it for me.

Yeah that just leaves the problem of the poisonous atmosphere then!

it is really, its just another planet with similar make up to ours in certain places, the biggest difference is obviously the atmosphere, but you can go to places on earth and see the same thing landscape wise.
i have no real interest in pics of the landscape of mars itself, once you have seen a few pics youve seen them all.
far more interesting things to see on our own planet, some of them not even discovered yet.
more interested in if there are any sorts of life forms at all, but looks unlikely.
pretty cool how theyve got a panoramic view though
i find it more fascinating though, that we search for aliens, but are actually aliens ourselves!

On a pole thats either:
- photoshopped out (you can see the defect in the image if you look straight down at the rover)
- made by a series of wideangle shots that have been adjusted and the pole removed
