So far so good with this car thankfully, now on 160k and it still goes well Been using and abusing it lately so thought I'd give the old girl some tlc today.
Thinking of doing the wheels gloss black to tie in with the lights? Thoughts?

those front lights are awful, i preferred it with standard headlights.

I buffed it up with G6, came up a treat. I damaged the old headlights fucking about with them so thought I'd try these. I like them. Looks like a BMW now

I don't really mind the headlights either. At least they're black and not chrome angels.

I do like a nice MK3, had those headlights in mine. Give much more light out than standard.
I've had a Merit, Sport and a Cesaro. Finished the Cesaro off as a GSI rep before it was sold (was already XE'd!)

I'm glad I have the CS approval <3
I like the headlights, not usually a fan of angels myself but I don't mind them on this.

1.7td Izuzu lump, will go on for ever and ever Been reading up on tuning them, very good gains to be had from very simple mods.

It is yes mate, take it you've driven past it? Only cost me £180 and it's absolutely mint, almost no rust at all.

Yeah project car, it's 1.6 sport, I'm keeping the 1.6, got dials throttle bodies, 4-branch exhaust, dastek Unichip, cams (piper blanks of some sort). Then everything else is being stripped and painted
Btw I've got those headlights on my other mk3, I think they're great.

Not too keen on the lights, but thats a cool looking Astra. The silver wheels with GM mudflaps suit it perfectly.
Fella from Ballycastle bought my Mini recently, black with orange roof, you might see it about lol.

I like that Jamie. Maybe if the lights were Ice white instead of yellow they wouldn't look as bad imo. Keep the wheels silver.
