What happens if another car turns up at the bottom? There will be no "tray" on the turntable for it to drive into.

I dont think its designed for daily use. Probably somewhere to store your weekend cars. The cars you use daily you'd just park in the underground bit.

Obviously you could use it daily but it would be get a bit tedious.

Kind of thing you see an in Iron man Film.

Good idea for Cities where there is sod all space though.

That lift will have to have serious operational reliability and a solid support contract.

If it breaks down once it fucks everyone over.

I don't think it's one per house, you can see the next apartment up here:

It's one per apartment block is it not?

thus all tenants in the block share it?

Yeah immediate response with 5 second SLA for engineer to be on site TBH and 5 minute fix time.

Human beings with millions of pounds are very angry people when things break and it delays their life by more then 5 minutes.

I don't think it'll be a case of having your own 'tray' that you use every time. If half the people are out the building driving about there are always going to be empty ones - as soon the car being lifted is deposited I reckon that there will be a storage area in the ground floor 'bay' you drive into at the side or something for an extra tray at the bottom, which would also mean that it'd be able to retract if someone was wanting to come down.

I'd be parking my Lambo outside my gated mansion rather than sharing a car lift and apartment block with other folk tbh.

Fair point.

My boss has a riverside apartment, about 100k worth if that, that has a car lift in it. Admittedly not to your living room or as cool an apartment block but still. Not very cool in the scheme of things imo.

Chris Evan's garage is infinitely cooler, as a comparison.

I imagine a gated mansion in Singapore is a lot more than £15m though.
