Im utterly clueless when it comes to this, I wont go into it but I need a car disposed of, its brand spank, not many miles but has extensive body damage.

Just wondering what my best route would be, sell it to someone or have it broken for parts?

Thanks.

depends on your resources, I would imagine you have none of them (i.e. a place to store it, tools to take it apart, braincells to list it on ebay etc).

You can either trick a male to do it for you, or pay someone to do it for you, or just sell the car for cash.

Get someone to fix it and say you'll pay when it gets sold. Cash in hand.

as above, advertise it normal routes but as it is with the damage, people may buy it as it is as a view to fix (if fixable) or it maybe worth speaking to a local garage who maybe able to break it and sell the bits for a small percentage?

also maybe advertise it on the marque forum, for example if its a renault then the renault forums or clio forums etc.

And if you want to attract more viewers, do one of them seedy adverts that people do with you bent over the bonnet etc... it goes viral and you get more views.

dont blame me if a rapist turns up to buy it though.

Easiest way by far is list it for what it is on ebay and see how much you get for it.

Does the car owe you anything? does it need to be sold for a certain amount?

No, its more for my grandmas peace of mind as I know she cant do anything with it. It belonged to my grampa whos driving was qustionable towards the end.He was a very proud man who tried to fix every little scrape and it now resembles a spray painted pollyfilla'd mess.
I just figured someone could make use of the parts as its hardly been used.

As mentioned in my first reply, if you have the resources at hand its a good option (breaking the car) - however if you do not have the resources just put it on ebay and let the Internet decide, someone out there will spot it and either drive it around looking fucked or do it up and flog it.

Lawrah, i'm sorry for your loss

Speak with Ian, he's a good lad and i'm sure he will help you out the best he can.

Other than that, i'd put on eBay and take what you can get.
