remember back in the day people such as Claire, Fear, Chumbly_warner, Daimo B to name a few all had some pretty cool installs and custom audio set-ups, just wondering if anyone on here is still into thier audio? or if anyones made their own sub enclosures etc. ...or is this too 1990's max power according to CS 
I know Custom corsa is currently sorting audio on his and looks quite good so far, anyone got any photo's of thier's they want to share

First thing I do when I get a car is put all new speakers in and sub/amp. Hate crap audio.

I did one in my old car bu have up halfway through and it just stayed like that

Yeah thats the same as me tbh i cant stand awfull audio but also im not too keen on these SPL cometition systems people make.
Just wondered if anyones made an install them selves, i know a lot of people go for the 'stripped out mega fast track slag look' even if its just a daily car.

Can't be doing with the stripped out look in my car as rear seats are useful

Does my Vectra custom sub enclosure I made count? Not carpeted yet though as I'm gonna wait till I've made a cover for my amps and processor.

I've been making some for my corsa, but been put on hold till i fit x18xe1 engine.
Smoothing process;
Fitted;
Not sure if i'm keeping these or not as i don't like the speakers anymore, so will be building another set my other speakers lol.

In the MDF baffle if you fit "threaded inserts" you can use machine thread cap heads to hold the speakers in .

Looking good chaps, Karisma always liked that build of yours 
Primey, im currently doing the same with my focal components .. will have to get some pics
Also started a small enclosure that will be fibreglassed to house a 10" focal sub
edit: heres a quick pic of the sub enclosure so far out of mdf, its to house the sub inverted and is measured for the correct internal volume. will get onto fibreglassing this week after work, mk1 version:

No sorry didn't grab any more progress pics, will get as many as I can when I make the other set!
Nice wood working skills there Danny W. not sure how the sub will sound inverted though, I'm after sound quality not loudness.

Cheers primey, this is just the mk1 version no doubt I'd be making a few modifications next time lol will be going for a complete boot build and going for a good SQ set up.
Inverted doesn't sound much different IMO but obviously depending on kit used etc.

Danny remember if invert mounting the sub then to wire it out of phase.
