So, i picked this up last weekend after getting rid of the 182. Thought i would go for something sensible and diesel, ofcorse went for the 330d
I had no plans to do anything to the new car but spotted this one for sale cheep and it needs a couple of bits doing. So it would be rude not too!
Heres the pics
Plans for it -
New wheels and tyres
Lowered (Springs or coilovers not sure yet)
LED Rear lights
CCFL's and new bulbs all round
EGR Delete
Swirlflaps removed
And some other stuff no doubt
Oh yeah, maybe remap, 290bhp is too tempting!

Looks in good nick! Although not keen on the extra 2 doors, personally.
290bhp you say? That would be immense

Be careful, anything over 250bhp map on these, the clutch can't always handle it.. My car is 250bhp and around 400nm torque and tbh it's enough

Don't get led rears, the face lifted ones look nice. They didn't do oem LEDs on the saloon.
Also sod CCFLs, get LEDs. Million miles better, more reliable, easier to install and look more oem.
Any interior shots?

I am new to all this BM stuff, got a link to the LED fronts?
I know they dont do LED's on saloons but ive always thought they look better from the Coupes. Was suprised the saloon didnt come with them on the facelifts tbh

I was sure that they did 2004 onwards with LEDs?
Everyone seems to be out buying e46's right now I got one a couple of weeks ago to replace my E90.
Remap will probably see 270-280 max if you go down the route of decats and exhaust intercooler etc.

The reason being my MV2's wernt in the best shape. My front passanger one was dead!
So bought the new ones
Tyres on (Conti Sport Contact 5's on the front Eagle F1'S on the rear) and waxed up
Fitted (Crap pics)
The rears scrub abit but ah well! Will be getting lowered at some point too

Scrubbing on the inner arch on the outside of the tyre. Doesnt seem too bad now without a boot full of heavy shit.
Cheers ben, they are 18's yeah.
Jambon, they are getting ordered soon. Most bmw ones are 63mm, i have a feeling these are 86mm as thats whats printed on the back of them

Took the top of the engine apart to get the manifold off
Swirlflaps out. Nasty
The manifold was pretty nasty too so have it a good clean out along with the EGR
Shit from the EGR
New air filter
Swirl flap blanks fitted
Done. Crap pics sorry!
