I placed my order online. Tried to pay by card twice, but their webpayment thing crapped out twice - so I selected the "pay in store" option on the third try as I was going to collect it anyway.
Get to the store, there are several guys behind the counter rushing around, obviously very busy - one of them stops mid-rush to ask me if I've ordered already.
I say I placed an order online for collection, give him my name - he goes away, comes back with my order, I take it back to the car and realise he's forgotten my bottle of drink.
So I go back to the counter, show another guy the receipt and say the last guy forgot to give me my bottle of drink - second guy hands over the bottle of drink, I walk out, get in the car, drive home, start tucking in.
It was on the second bit of cheesey garlic bread I realised that I hadn't actually paid for it. (Or I've paid for it twice where the webpayment thing gave me server errors).
Should I run back and pay?

This actually happened to me last year.
They were also busy, handed me my pizza with a "Thank you very much, enjoy the pizza" before turning straight around and walking off before I had a chance to get the wallet out.
I walked out the door without a care in the world.

Or in my case, if you pay nothing, you get an inedible (for now, at least) frozen solid slice of cheesecake. Instant karma.
(although I didn't deliberately not pay, so I think karma is being a bit harsh tbh)

Used to work for Pizza Hut. If you didn't pay Instore, don't go back in and pay as they will just put it through the till as a hoax.
As for the cheesecakes, all the deserts come in frozen as they are designed to defrost when on delivery and while people are eating their pizzas. Take around 20/30 mins to be any where near edible.

4 of us, took 3 hours in total, and once we had finished our meal, we sat for over an hour waiting for our bill.
We got up and walked out, thats the second time,
Service is shocking
