I'm after a car. Requirements are:

- has to be prestige type as I'll be using it to go to work. So no Subaru/Evos
- diesel.
- 80k miles max.
- decent performance when needed but say mid 30 MPG when taking it easy.
- say 04 onwards.
- lots of toys.

Pretty vague requirements I know. Links would be good.

bit more miles than you want but easily capable of at least the same again

i think bmw you will get more gadgets for your money, when i was looking for mine, audi a4's up for 8k and still having manual rear windows just pissed me off lol

Which part of a C Max is prestige and has performance?

I'd suggest a 330d M Sport or C220 CDI merc.

330D. 335 only available in Auto which is gay and not as good on MPG.

Could you get a facelift A4 s-line for 10k? If so then that would be top of the pile for me, perfect grown up and sensible car imo.
