just been down to argos to get it, £29.99 because i had a £5 voucher kicking around. never been more excited for a game ever, always loved the halo series story. any one else get it? opening cut scenes are

I have been playing for 4 hours straight and just stopped for some food. Guess I have nearly done it then.
I don't play mutliplayer as have a shit slow internet connection so £40 for 5 hours

Correct I put in 6-8 months gameplay on Black Ops and MW3 and never touched campaign on either. Will do the same on BO2, straight into multiplayer. Infact I'd happily buy a cheaper multiplayer only version if it was available.

This I'd happily pay for an online only version, not fussed with the campaign personally might play it a few times but multilayer is what im buying it for

ive came full circle, hate online play now, much more interested in the stories that go with COD and especially halo
by the way, halo is the best game ive ever played! how they got them graphics out of a 7yr old console is unreal

neve rplayed it online dude, literally if you play on your online gamertag, even offline, the game log it creates. as soon as you sign in online without the game it banned people. i hate to buy another xbox lol so im £50 quid lighter and lost all my gamerscore but im back

Just saw the video review on IGN and this looks pretty staggering. I enjoyed the first one.
Oh well, guess I'll settle for replaying Killzone 3 in stead...

Online has runied gaming in some aspects.
Games that before were epic because of the campaign now just get a shit story thrown at them to keep the minority happy and everything else is dedicated to online.

I think you'll find the above is more accurate.
Also, there's still lots of good story based games. Just recently we've seen both Dishonored and AC3 do incredibly well.
Online gaming is just the "it" thing as people find it more fun, challenging and rewarding to compete with other people.

I was talking about the likes of MW, COD, Halo, GOW etc
The campaign lovers are definatly in the minority there. I didn't mean gaming in general as yes, there are a lot more games out there not dedicated to online

Well, yes, the COD series is definitely focusing on multiplayer now, but then other games aren't.

Which is something I'll never do. I've got Black Ops 2 but am playing it on an offline profile.
If you insist on playing it on your main profile, delete the profile before going online then recover it so the GPD isn't on it thus no evidence you've played the game at all.
