Picked this up last monday, It's a Golf 2.0 tdi sport 140. Had enough of the running costs of the Lexus so went for a diesel instead.

So far ive changed the wheels and given it a good clean up, The wheels came off my lexus just changed the centre caps on them.

And this little lot turned up today. Centre armrest, Wiper blades, new numberplates and an ipod lead for the radio. Should keep me busy at the weekend!

Plans in the future are a remap and possibly the rear windows having a light tint on them, Dont want to go too ott on it!

Wheels would look better if it was lower but that can be said for most cars.

Standard wheels where shit, wasn't a fan, these will do until I can find a set of vag wheels that I like the look of.
Saves having them sat around doing nothing, don't want any NHS style wheels, not really a fan of them!

I think they'd look good if it was a little lower. Nice cars anyway, congrats.

Just trying to sort the handsfree kit out, some retard fitted it just by twisting wires and taping them up! Made a right mess of it!

The car is lovely btw but the wheels make it look like a 45 year old mans who's having a midlife crisis and raided halfords to bling his ride. Edition 30 bbs needed imo

I originaly went for at gt sport 170 but i was put off by lack of service history and high mileage.

Not looking for scene style rims, Want it to look something like a normal car not one of these slammed to the deck euro boxes with old wheels on. Not my thing anymore.

Thinking of something like this for the wheels

Nice car Bonney!

Loved my Golf TSI but sold that due to having a company car at the time.

I'm in need of a new motor, doing silly amounts of miles at the moment.

I'm the same, was doing about 100 miles a week up until about 6 months ago, now with the new job and going between 3 depots I'm doing twice maybe three times that so it pays for itself. Plus road tax and insurance are a lot cheaper, basically a win win situation!

Think so far I've done about 400 miles and there is still fuel in the tank, would have had to completely refill the Lexus by now and be less than 3/4 of a tank!

Lexus was a 05 sport in the same colour as yours munchie, 51k on the clock and got 3k on a trade in with scuffed bumpers and wheels that where badily corroded and flaking.

Dont really care about the band wagon, I know they aren't to everyones tastes but they are better than getting points and a fine for tyres with not much tread on them like the originals! Looking for some origional VAG wheels, None of these shitty BBS bandwagon style wheels.
