None near the office and I'm out tonight so can't go to my local one.
Probably a good thing as it will be full of riff raff.

Typical, will be full of everyone spending their dole money on tv and games to give them something to do during the day.

I doubt there will be too many bargains. The shit stuff will be reduced no doubt, but the decent stuff will probably be the same price as Amazon

Shame as our TV is on its last legs; hopefully will last for the January sales or will keep an eye out for comet deals getting better

I went to the 2 in Coventry yesterday afternoon, one had only put the prices down on a few things, the other was working their way around and had got to most.
They are only knocking 10% off at the moment, not sure if they will take more off at some point

no point selling it much less than that as they'll more than likely be able to return to manufacturer for a 15-20% restocking/handling charge

One round corner from work go have a look in a min, can't see being anything special on offer.
Either that or too busy to bother going in!

Comet can't get credit that's reason they are fucked, they own everything.

hence a restocking/handling charge for returning to manufacturer. Lose 15-20% of what they paid but recoup as much as possible, as quickly as possible

Be better selling it off at trade price +vat in that case.

not if they're trying to recoup as quickly as possible. Administrators will send it back if they can; i.e. unopened boxes, on crates, ready to go. No issues with settling VAT bills etc. later and potentially send back thousnads of items that would otherwise sit on a shelf waiting for someone to make an offer on them. If they're trying to get cashflow going, that'll be the quickest and easiest way

Missus has just been, some of it was 30% off but nothing left, loads of little stuff for 20% off like kettles etc and 10% off on the bigger items.
She didnt find anything worth having.
