Yeah but modern cars don't look a relic and are safer places to be in.

If I were trolling I would be correcting your woeful spelling.

I think that is a ridiculous price for an old Golf. That's it really.

I think they've quoted kW, 220kW is 300bhp, R36 power. This engine code is 280bhp standard and unless that inlet is hideously restrictive, which I doubt, looking at most of the hand made VR6 inlets, I'd be amazed if it didnt make 300 all day long

I'm not sure you buy a mk2 golf for its safety record

Gotta agree with hammer on this one, that's seriously expensive for an old golf with a different engine. It is nice tho.

Can see both sides of the coin, when i saw the price i was like

But then, you pay £8k now, so long as you keep that in good nick its probably only going to rise in value.

Why would you buy one? For 8 grand specifically?

Its ok, they are trolling my thread, i can handle it.

I didn't look at the price really, its not like i want to buy it, i never want a mk2 golf, its a bit of pity people can't enjoy something for what it is, rather than bringing their money opinions into it all the time, its always about money and worth with some people.
