I would drive and collect, but its a bonnet for my Evo and it wont fit in my Clio, so by time i've hired a van etc its not worth my while.

If it was here I've got the packing stuff to do it, no problem. Just the hour each way trip to bring it here that's putting me off
Reckon he'd be willing to bring it here?

Doubt it. Sounds like he doesn't want to do anything but have it collected.
Ian, out of interest, if you was to book a courier for me, how much would it cost?

I only use Parcel Monkey, no special account or anything.
Corsa bonnet is 1.5m x 1m so add another 10cm or so.
Whats it made out of? Steel or alu?

What's wrong with the current bonnet? Just drive up there and fit the new bonnet and leave the other at the side of the road Im sure if you arranged the courier and gave him a bit extra to buy a roll of bubblewrap he would wrap it for you, especially if he would lose the sale.

It's non existant and the car doesn't have tax or MOT atm. Already tried that one, his having none of it and says it'll cost too much to waste on wrapping just one bonnet. Trust me, i've tried the majority of the alternatives!

Typical, Was up there only couple weeks ago, could've dropped it at Ian's on the way home.
Although if it won't fit in your clio, probably wouldn't fit in my Fabia.

Wrapping panels is a pain in the tits but if you're selling one you need to be prepared to do it.
Can you find out where exactly it needs collecting from.
As a last resort its 35 miles each way and whatever it costs to post, I'm happy to do it, it may also be on a commute route for my mate but I need to check where first.

I work in Preston 3 days per week. There tomorrow and Friday.
Doubt it will fit in the back of a 308. What is the bonnet off/for?

A bonnet would probably fit in a clio but only with an inch spare, just measure your boot space diagonally to double check. Even though i live close i dont have a car that it will fit in. Can't believe he wont wrap it even if you book the courier!

He's really not interested in doing it mate. He'd rather it just sat about gathering dust.

Ok, the postcode is PR5 5UW. I posted a wanted thread and he replied saying he had one, but he only wants it collected

Maybe you could get it to Ian or something if that's possible?!

I've measured it. It doesn't fit from what I found. The boot has some massive plastic bits inside which don't come out. I thought that, he says its been here months already just gathering dust and doesn't mind it staying there

I've actually done this before with a set of alloys. Someone on here was able to help. I tell you what, I fucking love CS!
Anyone able to help out further by any chance?

for me it is 27 miles each way and I have a van....... Obviously this is not the most cost effective way due to fuel costs but its an option

Would you be able to pick it up and drop it off at Ian's by any chance? £20?
