i had one as i over stayed in a car park like you did but i was with the car the whole time i was just chatting to the lad, got loads of letters coming through saying they were going to take me to court if i didnt pay up, not heard owt for about 2 months now

don't contact them or acknowledge you were driving and they can do sweet f all, as Ian says they can't prove who was driving

Contract is with the driver not the registered keeper of the car. They can't prove who was driving and you don't know who was driving at the time. Ignore the letter and file under rubbish, not to be replied too.

Iirc there was a big thread on passionford about this sort of thing and it had been updated recently. Apparently there has been a change in the law and it is now enforceable iirc.
