I've got a problem with cats shitting on my lawn and drive.
I caught one this morning so I chucked a orange at it. Only to find when I got home one has taken a dump by my car.
Has anyone got any tips on how to stop them, without getting reported to the RSCPA?
Owning one isn't a option because they are dirty little bastards.

I have the same problem mate and would like to shoot or poison them but can't and I've tried all the repellents , citrus fruit, moth balls, mdke urine etc, makes me laugh as if a dog owner let it happen you could get done but ax cats r classed as wild there owners can get away without being responsible for them foiling everywhere, heard a rumour u need to be careful when toppin up your antifreeze this time of year as if you leave it out or spill some cats are attracted to it and it can kill them if they drink it

Alike a scarecrow, you could sit a stuffed dog on your driveway, might do the job.

If I could get away with it I would.

the cat repellers seem to work well. we have 3 cats but only 1 goes out due to the others wanting to get lost all the time, and my neighbour have one of the repellers and she doesn't go in his garden anymore.
fill a spray bottle up with water or a citrus smelling liquid. it needs to be quite powerful. when you see it shitting, squirt it and shout aswell.
should stop them doing it.

quite a lot of people don't.
elite people like you and me hear higher pitched sounds, but most likely aren't as good at low pitched noise.

Non-issue if it's outside; they certainly work though.

True Dom, however you do have to walk past it now and then.
Yes they do work I'm not doubting that.

I've got two of those exact cat repellers(Ł18 delivered off ebay, each). Cats were shitting on my lawn and in the gravel of my back garden. Since I put the deterrents out i've not seen a cat in my garden for 6 years. They work better when used in an area surrounded by fence, if they pick up folk walking past etc then they eat batteries and you'l get annoyed with the sound.

Shit on the cats garden.
The ultra sound things don't work. My neighbours got 2 of them and cats still shit on her garden. And pisses me off every time I walk past and have to poke up with a high pitched squeal.
You want to get a load of curry plants and plant them in your garden. Cats don't like curry.

I would have to disagree with that. Ive gave my cats a bit chicken curry before. Not sure if they just eat it for the chicken though, but they do eat it. Ive even fed them a bit chicken phal
