Cleaned Aleex's EK9 TypeR today . Really enjoyed the whole process as id been wanting to do it for a while . The car itself its a stunning example of an EK9 and for a 12 year old car the painwork was faultless .

The wash consisted of :
Wheels cleaned with Smart wheels diluted 3/1
Snowfoamed with Megs Hyper wash
Shampoo'd with Megs Hyper wash
IronX
Tardis
Clayed
Foamed again with Megs Hyper wash
Dried with Chemical Guys Wooly Mammoth drying towell
Glazed with Poorboys White Diamond
Waxed with Dodo Juice Diamond White
Glass cleaned with AF Crystal Glass Cleaner
Exhaust polished with Autosol
Tyres treated with Chemical Guys New Look Trim Gel

Think thats it . Unfortunately didnt make it to the engine vay as ran out of time ! He has some photos of the whole process but i only have the finished ones and here they are !

And 2 with mine for good measure

Was a good day and he took me for a drive in the morning and i loved it . Would love one of these one day !

if you cherish and pride your car then you would not take it to them, fact is if you want your car to be kept in good condition then you either do it yourself properly or pay someone to do it properly, and to me that does not include polish car cleaning places.

i watched one the other day washing a new merc and he washed the wheels with a mit, then used the same mit to wash the car, dropped the mit and picked it up and carried on i laughed, would you get a handful of grit and wash your car with that as you might aswell be.

Cheers for all the kind comments about the car, as you can tell Nathan did an epic job on the cleaning side!

This is the best car I've owned and love it to bits, would recommend anyone to buy one.

In reply to Alex_Rally its Tbh as barnshaw said, they are useless and only do damage to the paint, had a discussion with a Mae about it the other day as he said , "oh yeh they use snow foam " but the stuff they use it like industrial/ agricultural lorry cleaner, really really strong stuff and not good for your paint.
People might think it's completely Anal but when the paint on your Car is good you like to keep it that way :-)
