Been googling looking for legal short size plates.

Its a 6 digit plate so would like them neat and short, unsure on the dimensions given on the sites so looking for confirmation before i go and waste £20

If you order from fancyplates and state in the notes that you want minimal legal size. They'll then send one with the required 11mm border.

That's where I got my front plate, it's as small as what's possible for a 7 digit plate so yours will be smaller still.

Got mine from Fancyplates, under the 3/4 option.

Not Police hassle... Yet.

Buy normal plates and trim them down. Its very easy to do, and get them neat. Yet you pay a fraction the cost.

Its for my mrs' xmas i'd rather just buy a nice set to wrap up for her to open on xmas day.

Not a set i've hacked up and filed myself.

For £20 is it really worth it?

djgritt, I feel your plate should be filling that recess tbh - it looks a bit odd. Ace car though other than that

Try these

16"x4.5" is almost the same as the Craigsplate size...
