It's the time of year where we are always caught out by our cars being frozen when we need to get somewhere

Last night when I came out of work my car door was frozen shut

So it made me think, what's worse?????

And is it true spraying your screen with vinegar stops it from freezing

About a fiver on eBay. It really isn't anything fancy, just a silver fold up thing that you shut in the doors to hold in place and put the wipers over it to hold it down.

One of our neighbours put a towel over her windscreen the other night. It rained on it then froze solid with frost etc on top over night. She couldn't get it off the next morning!!!

I was trying not to piss myself as I was scraping away.

Someone once told me putting a hot water bottle on your dash 10 mins before you go out helps defrost your window screen. Never tried it though...

Dunno what the hassle is. Turn on car push button to defrost rear window and push button to defrost windscreen.

Three minutes later clear glass all round. I left work this morning cars frozen solid. I did the above while most rush round with scrapers etc and take off. Most of them I go past on the road later as they've had to pull over as they've frozen up again.

Was -6 this morning! chuffing cold!

I've seen people with kettles with boiling water pouring it over the screen. Always women. Just waiting for the screen to crack!!

I don't drive to work

Even when I want to use my car it's parked underground so it's all good.

Only 1 thing worse than having to defrost your car in the morning, sharing a mode of transport with a bunch of sweaty strangers.
