Same old story. He won't spend it though on proven quality.

Proven quality won't go there now, those kind of players want as near as you can get a guarantee of trophies and you don't get that with Arsenal.

He was starting to spend a bit better in the summer but that only negated the loss of 2 of his best players rather than supplement it.
He should continue signing experienced internationalists, there's plenty out there.

I might be Arsenal on Football Manager, then spend some money and see what happens

Problem is the real quality we do have is offset by a load of crap that needs to be shipped out.
I read recently that getting rid of Djourou and Chamakh alone would wipe £150k a week off the wage bill.

Part of the problem is the players he's signing to replace the ones he's selling aren't anything like as good so they are going backwards

I think i'm becoming disallusioned with modern day football.
As TA6 said, play for the name on the front of the shirt, and they'll remember the name on the back.
99% of players these days don't even know theres a name on the front.

Yep.
Sell RVP, bring in Giroud. I like Giroud, and am confident he'll be a great player for us, but he's not Robin Van Rapist.

Yup - its going to be a struggle as said - people are less likely to come to Arsenal now. Hes waiting 6 months too late to get the signings in. Replacing like for like over the summer was never going to be enough. We were under-strength then let alone with lesser replacements for Sony/RVP
Chamakh is a waste - still not convinced on Gervinho either. He has had way too many 'bad' games when hes been playing well in others.
Ramsey has just not got it IMO. Since his leg break hes never got back to where he was before.
They have to sign Walcott. Just pay the money and stop messing around, let him play up front for a couple matches.

You would do being an Arsenal fan, considering the point is to win things.

Lies
"If you do any analysis of performance against spending over the past 15 years, Arsenal is the one club which has outperformed its spend every single year over that period.
There are some real fundamentals at this club which I think our fans believe in - we stand on our own two feet and take pride in our achievements."

Wenger is making strange decisions for team selection and in the game.
Why he plays Gervinho up top over Giroud is beyond me.

Today's....

No shit!!!!!! Well said tho.
Tbh when we have a bad run of form, ussually all this crisis and drama occurs, then we still finish 4tjh and all is "okay" again (according to the board). But this time I actually think things are building up to a point where the fans/media etc will kick off enough which might see some things change???
Who knows tho.

Bracewell-smith can moan all she wants and talk of passion etc but if she's as passionate about the club as she claims to be, why did she sell her shares to Kroenke?

The situation is absolutely perfect for Guardiola in all honesty.
If he won them the Champions League he would be have completed football.

I thought same. But i'd love it if all the Man U/City and Chavski fans who all think its between their clubs got fucked over and Pep came to us.

"MASSIVE" announcment due at 3pm... apparently. All signs point to a new deal for Gibbs, but could be new deals for Gibbs/Ox/Ramsey and Wilshere... not Walcott nor the signing of David Villa, as has been rumoured haha
